Function

This is how a regular day looks like as Senior Corporate
Controller…

You are responsible for the controlling activities of several of our Powerhouses (i.e.: operating companies). This includes:

• Monthly review, verification, and written appreciation of P&L and KPI figures during the closing process
• Quarterly preparation and review of the reporting (including P&L figures, KPI’s, working capital, and
cashflow statement)
• Conducting meetings with the Powerhouse finance teams to discuss the outstanding questions in the reporting
• Quarterly review of the reforecast

Next to that, you contribute to the preparation of ad hoc reports/figures requested by our group CEO and group CFO by analyzing the figures, understanding the bigger picture and discuss this with our group CFO.

You lead efforts to streamline and optimize finance processes, enhancing efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Concerning reporting excellence, you collaborate on the design and setup of reports in our reporting tools and PowerBI, leveraging your expertise to provide stakeholders with valuable insights and you also take an active role in the yearly budgeting process, contributing to the strategic financial planning of the organization.

This position reports directly to the Head of Corporate Controlling, providing you with the opportunity to contribute directly to the financial strategy of House of HR.

Want more? We are currently investing in a new BI software to improve our financing process. With Fluence (consolidation) and Anaplan (planning and management reporting) selected as new tools, our finance teams will be future proof! It is a state-of-the-art, best-in-class, “hot” reporting tool which you can support setting up from the start!

And last but not least: continuous growth! We are further looking at expanding our group. With new M&A deals in the future, each time being a bit different, there is no time to feel bored as you become responsible for the controlling activities of new Powerhouses that will be acquired by House of HR. Managing the integration of new bolt-on acquisitions into our reporting software is also part of the job.

And you are?

A HAPPY REBEL!

You have a passion for numbers: working closely together with some of our 11 PowerHouses and having a good analytical insight; combined with a minimum of 4 years of experience in controlling. Considering our PowerHouses are not only active in Belgium, but also in France, the Netherlands and Germany (and yes, we are looking to expand our horizon further!), needless to say a solid foundation of English is a must.

Knowledge of Excel is a must, knowledge of accounting a plus. Not a lot of knowledge of PowerBI? No problem, we will further invest in your knowledge!
