The House of HR and Covebo join forces
ROESELARE, June 24, 2015 – The House of HR, the umbrella HR group with brands like Accent Jobs, Logi-Technic, and Peak6, is acquiring Dutch company Covebo through its majority shareholder NAXICAP Partners. The acquisition marks a significant expansion of the group’s activities on the Dutch market and demonstrates the joint ambition of The House of HR and Covebo to become one of the top ten national players in the Netherlands.
Entrepreneurship and fast growth
“As one of the major players on the HR market, The House of HR strongly focuses on international growth. The alliance with French company Abylsen earlier this year was a first step in that direction. In the Netherlands, we were already operating since 2006 through a network of 16 Accent Jobs offices. By joining forces with Covebo, we’ll now be able to serve every Dutch region. This will also allow us to expand our international presence with offices in Poland and Germany. Finally, both companies possess a strong sense of entrepreneurship, which is reflected in their fast growth over the last few years", Jérôme Caille, The House of HR CEO, explains.
Key asset: a local base and internationally qualified workers
The alliance between Covebo and Accent Jobs – The House of HR’s business unit specialising in agency work with the prospect of steady employment – allows The House of HR to respond to current market trends such as the need for internationally qualified workers and flexible bespoke solutions. Both companies closely follow market demand to ensure a strong local base. The combined turnover will amount up to 110 million euros. Together, they employ over 3,000 people every day.
Expanding the international offer
Covebo Uitzendgroep was founded in 2001 by John van Veen and Gert Bouw and specialises in international employment, focussing specifically on the placement of Polish workers in manufacturing, logistics, engineering, and construction. As a decentralised organisation, Covedo currently has 18 offices in the Netherlands, Germany and Poland, with a focus on a strong local base. In 2014, Covebo generated a turnover of 78 million EUR. "By joining forces with The House of HR, we’ll be able to achieve our ambition of becoming one of the top ten players in the Dutch agency work sector. Jointly, our network of offices will provide national coverage. Covebo’s international employment services are also complementary to the Accent Jobs business concept, which is geared towards jobs offering the prospect of a steady contract”, Gert Bouw and John van de Veen, founders of Covebo, indicate.
