Diversified portfolio explains success and higher global ranking.

Staffing industry analysts

Roeselare, 22 December 2021 – HR service provider House of HR continues to climb in SIA's Dutch- and global rankings of the strongest HR companies. Thanks to its decentralised structure and powerhouse subsidiaries, House of HR was able to limit the impact of the COVID-19 crisis in 2020, and is even making a profit in the Dutch market. CEO Rika Coppens stated, “We are very pleased to see the ranking confirm our group’s position. House of HR has proven that it can stand strong in times of crisis. We look forward to moving on from these uncertain times and continuing to grow.”

House of HR moved up from fourth to third place in the 2020 ranking for HR companies in the Netherlands compiled by Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). It is also the only grower in the top six, posting 6% growth compared to 2019. In addition, House of HR rose from 24th place in 2019 to 22nd place in 2020 in the global rankings, posting a global turnover of approximately €1.6 billion in 2020. Redmore and Covebo: two powerhouse subsidiaries

House of HR consists of several large subsidiaries – PowerHouses – that in turn control boutiques (sub-subsidiaries). Powerhouses Redmore and Covebo managed to post strong growth figures for 2020, a year impacted by COVID-19 when all HR service providers suffered losses. Not only did their performance enable House of HR to grow in the Netherlands, but it also attenuated the group's global losses due to COVID-19 when compared to industry rivals.

Redmore – whose areas of operation include Belgium and the Netherlands – provides consultants in niche segments of the financial and insurance industry. Covebo – active in the Netherlands, Poland and Hungary – specialises in the foreign recruitment of blue-collar personnel. They mainly recruit candidates from Eastern European countries to work in the Netherlands and help set up the relevant structures and services.

Crisis-resistant during a turbulent year

House of HR's decentralised structure enabled it to pivot quickly when the coronavirus crisis exploded. The group's eight powerhouses – Covebo, Redmore, Abylsen, Accent, Cohedron, Continu Professionals, Gritt and Timepartner – are all strongly rooted locally. With their solid knowledge of local markets, populations and employees, they were able to adapt individually, based on what was happening locally. All of House of HR's subsidiaries are active across different regions and industries.

Every House of HR company has its own expertise, focusing on Specialised Talent Solutions and Engineering & Consulting. Thanks to this specialised strategy, House of HR has proven that it is crisis-resistant during turbulent and economically uncertain times. Rika Coppens, CEO of House of HR notes, “Over the past year and a half, House of HR has proven its resilience. Thanks to our decentralised structure, we can take quick action via our eight powerhouses and more than 40 boutiques (sub-subsidiaries) operating in 13 countries. Our growth strategy continues to develop, with potential acquisitions focusing on sectors such as IT & Healthcare, and we are aiming to move into other regions and countries such as Scandinavia, Switzerland and Austria.”
