About Our Team

We are the Central AI Team at House of HR. Think internal startup: small, fast, and slightly obsessed with shipping AI products that our Boutiques and PowerHouses cannot imagine working without.

 

 

We build the core, mostly API products, that dozens of our companies plug directly into their ATS and CRM systems. Beyond that, we are actively designing what the future of our business looks like: how people will collaborate with AI systems in a seamless, controlled, intuitive way.

 

 

We have limited build capacity and a huge surface area to serve. That means what we build, and how well it fits, matters enormously. That is where you come in.

The Role

You own the front of the product.

 

 

You figure out what we should build, how users will actually use it, and what a clean, effortless experience looks like. You are not here to babysit adoption. We have deployment consultants for that. You are here to make sure the thing they are rolling out was worth building and a joy to use.

▸ Discovery

You go out into our wildly heterogeneous landscape of Boutiques and PowerHouses, talk to recruiters and candidates, and find where things actually break. Where candidates drop off. Where recruiters waste time. Where real impact is hiding. You are the person who turns a field frustration into a product decision.

 

 

▸ Experience and Flow

You are relentless about UX. You map how our products land inside a recruiter's day and a candidate's journey, and you sweat the details: the smoothest flow, the cleanest UI, the fewest points of friction. A great API behind a clunky experience is a failed product. You make sure ours feels effortless and ties naturally into the way people already work.

 

 

▸ Prioritisation

You take everything you have learned, plus the ideas already flying around, and make the hard calls together with the team and leadership. With limited build capacity, every decision has to count. You help decide what is worth it and why, and you make that case with conviction.

You are probably a fit if...

• You are AI-native Not I have read about LLMs. You actually live in this. AI is woven into how you work and think every day, so you genuinely understand the products you are shaping.

 

 

• You have a sharp eye for UX and flow  You instinctively think in user journeys. You notice friction everyone else has stopped seeing, and you care deeply about how something feels to use, for recruiters and candidates alike.

 

 

• You think in outcomes, not features  You care about adoption and bottom-line impact, not shipping for the sake of it.

 

 

• You can influence without authority  You will be working across companies and teams with no formal power over anyone. Your ideas and your credibility do the convincing.

 

 

• You are comfortable with messy and unfamiliar  Our Boutiques are all different. You would rather learn a new process fast than walk in with rigid assumptions about how recruitment should work.

 

 

• You can talk to engineers about API products  Without being one yourself. You bridge the gap between business and technology fluently.

 

 

Nice to have:  Experience in recruitment, staffing, or HR tech. But honestly, adaptability beats domain knowledge every time.
