Function

You will be supporting the monthly closing activities, including reasonability checks on balance sheet and P&L and intercompany reconciliation.

 

You conduct a detailed analytical review on the entities allocated to you and perform a reconciliation of certain items such as equity movement, shares, etc.

 

You prepare the sub consolidation of the entities allocated to you and perform the necessary checks (quarterly consolidation).

 

You review the reporting received of the entities at year-end, including disclosures needed for the IFRS Financial Statements. 

 

You support the team in the preparation of the IFRS Financial Statements and the annual report.

 

You are working together with 2-3 colleagues.

 

You invest the necessary time to become adequate in Tagetik, our BI software.

 

You help integrating new acquisitions.

 

You report to the Consolidation Manager.

Profile

  • Having a university degree, preferably in applied economics, is a good start.
  • To be considered an ideal candidate, you’ll have to be familiar with consolidation, accounting and IFRS.
  • If you also know to use Tagetik (our BI software) or if you’re willing to invest the necessary time to become adequate in it, that’s just great!
  • Being able to handle deadlines and knowing how to prioritize will be necessary. And, since communication is pretty important in this role.
  • We prefer you to be fluent in English and Dutch.
